Description

I had my eye on this great egret for some time as it was feeding. Every time it dunked in the water, it would come up and flare its head and neck feathers to let the water out. It took a few minutes to get the right timing but I eventually got it.

I was interested to see the black skin beneath the feathers. When they're flat, you'd never know...
